Motivating students onto positive career paths


 TEACHERS 

    Thank you for all your time and your daily gifts to your students. 
The Segue Program was developed as a way to further motivate
    students about their future by showing them the realities of the
    workplace that await them.

    It’s clear that when students are motivated they work harder in
    school, get better grades and test scores, and prepare themselves
    better for their future.

It’s no surprise that Segue was developed around the teachers
    being in control of the process. The opt-in process is simple and
    quick (3-minutes) and you can change the settings anytime.

    You choose (in a simple 3-minute process) the number of times
per month in your classroom that a workplace speaker will share,
    in 20 minutes, their personal experiences and wisdom along their
    path to the workplace. You also choose if you’d like any periods or
    days of the week excluded from speakers.   


    While the amount of time allocated from each teacher and speaker is 
    slight, in the aggregate among all participating classes, the impact
    on our students is enormous.

    Of participating students, 86% that they now believe, as a result of the
    speakers, that "more effort now equals more options for their future."

Please consider giving it a try for at least one 20-minute segment,
    one time per month. You’ll find that you enjoy it, while also
    broadening your knowledge of the workplace.
